Mr. Mirotznik has successfully litigated hundreds of cases for clients across New York State. He has over 29 years of experience of zealously advocating his clients’ positions and negotiating favorable settlements on their behalf. When settlement is just not possible, he has conducted numerous jury and non-jury trials. His business has developed and grown based upon word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied clients.
His bar admissions include New York State Bar, United District Court for the Eastern District of New York, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Mirotznik is a graduate of New York University and Brooklyn Law School.
Active in numerous professional organizations, he currently serves as First Vice President of the Jewish Lawyers Association of Nassau County. He is also a current member of the Nassau County Bar Association and has served as a former co-chairman of the Insurance Law Committee. He also had the honor of serving as past President of the Nassau Lawyers Association of Long Island, Inc. and was the 2017 recipient of the Hon. William Gittlemen award.
Mr. Mirotznik’s other professional responsibilities have included serving as Counsel to New York State Assemblyman Joseph Saladino and Steven Labriola. He is also the acting Village Justice of East Rockaway having been appointed in March 2021.
In April 2014, Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano appointed Mr. Mirotznik as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nassau Health Care Corporation (also known as Nassau University Medical Center). Mr. Mirotznik served as Chairman until January 2018.
